1. Get rid of security apps:
It's true that Android may have some security issues & bugs, just like any other operating system. But you don't need to use security apps. The security apps don't do anything they just eat the RAM and slow down the phone. first you have to Uninstall these apps.
2. Remove unwanted apps:
Go to setting > apps and scroll through the list. We don't realise but as we use the phone we often install apps that we don't need.
3. Free Up storage:
When your phone is Internal storage is full it can have significant effect on the phone's performance because fuller diskes have slow read and write data speed. This introduces lag into the phone. Please delete unwanted video or images.
4. Clear apps cache:
Apps like the Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp etc. Collect and store lots of data in their cache. Go to setting and delete cache.

It's easy to hear “have you tried turning it off and on again” the reason is that this often works. Turn it off for few minutes and the turn on again.
